Damen Naval focuses on delivering advanced naval vessels with global reach. We seek a Technical Subcontract Manager Electrical to coordinate electrical subcontracted work within complex naval projects, ensuring integration across engineering, procurement, installation and testing.

You will work with engineers, suppliers and project teams, monitor progress, manage risks and support evaluations and warranty issues in a demanding, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 7–10 years of experience, or Master's with 5–7 years.
• Broad knowledge of electrical installations in ships, naval shipbuilding or offshore installations.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and project managers in a complex technical environment.
• Experience managing complex projects and subcontracted technical work packages.
• Strong planning, organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Dutch and English, written and spoken; willingness to travel abroad.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate and facilitate multiple electrical subcontractors and suppliers during preparation and execution of projects.
• Take ownership of the technical integration of electrical work packages and coordinate the activities of the relevant subcontractors.
• Ensure electrical products and services comply with applicable requirements within schedules, quality standards and cost limits.
• Secure the execution and synchronization of project activities, deliverables and contractual obligations of subcontractors.
• Organize and participate in project reviews, monitor progress, interfaces, risks and required actions.
• Participate as the accepting party during milestones and tests such as FAT, HAT and SAT.
• Support technical and commercial evaluations, including cost analyses and warranty related issues.
