At Yokogawa Europe, we believe that real transformation begins with our people. As industries evolve toward digitalisation and sustainable operations, our employees need strong support at every step of their journey. That's where you come in.
As HR Officer, you're not just maintaining processes — you're shaping them. You combine operational precision with people insight, ensuring seamless HR administration while advising managers on key HR matters. From contracts to onboarding, payroll coordination and employee lifecycle support, you help our teams grow their impact.
You operate at the heart of HR — where structure meets strategy. You ensure high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle, providing operational excellence while acting as the first point of contact for managers on HR-related topics. You help improve HR processes, support payroll accuracy and contribute to creating an employee experience people value.
What You Will Do
Operational HR Support
- Prepare and manage HR documentation (contracts, amendments, letters) with accuracy and consistency.
- Own onboarding coordination: documentation, orientation steps, systems input, and stakeholder follow-up.
- Maintain employee data in HR systems (e.g. Workday), ensuring accuracy across lifecycle stages.
- Coordinate contract renewals, probation follow-ups and HR actions related to transfers or exits.
HR Process Support
- Act as first-line HR contact for employees and managers — advising on standard HR questions, policies and procedures.
- Support HR Business Partners in topics such as absence management, performance cycle coordination and employee relations.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvements, focused on digitalisation and efficiency.
Payroll & Compliance
- Support payroll input preparation (changes, benefits, allowances, leave, absence cases).
- Liaise with finance or payroll providers to ensure correctness and timely processing.
- Validate, input, and maintain payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other pay components.
- Advise the organisation on salary and pension related issues in line with the business needs.
- Assist with compliance checks, internal audits and workforce data reporting.
What You Bring
- 5 to 10 years of experience in HR operations/administration.
- Basic payroll knowledge.
- Strong eye for accuracy, organisation and legal compliance.
- Critical thinking: ability to improve processes, not just follow them.
- Customer-focused mindset and confident communicator.
- Familiarity with HR policy improvement or HR analytics.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems (Workday is a strong plus).
- Fluent Dutch.
