Your role as a HR Business Partner

As a HR Business Partner, you are the ultimate sparring partner for managers and employees at your locations within GXO ServiceTech. You move effortlessly between strategic advice and operational support. What makes this role so attractive? You advise management on team development as well as complex HR issues, and you are given ample room to visibly contribute to the further professionalization of HR within GXO. You work closely with operations as well as with HR colleagues from other GXO locations. This allows you to get to know the organization broadly and help build future‑proof personnel policies.

What does your workday look like?

No two days are the same, but your responsibilities include:

• Advising, supporting, and coaching managers on issues related to recruitment, internal mobility, and departure.
• Making an active contribution to both local and central HR projects.
• Translating central HR themes into practice and proposing policy improvements based on your experience on the shop floor.
• Advising and guiding team development and change processes.
• Providing support with complex cases such as performance, absenteeism, labor disputes, integrity, and culpable conduct.
• Supporting managers during (difficult) conversations regarding performance, absenteeism, and development.
• Contributing to the further integration of the ServiceTech location within the GXO network.

What do you bring?

To be successful in this role, you recognize yourself in the following:

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in HRM or a comparable level of knowledge.
• Relevant work experience in a similar HR advisory role and up-to-date knowledge of labor law and HR legislation. The ability to bring structure to a complex and dynamic organization.
• You switch easily between different management levels and know how to strike the right tone.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in both Dutch and English.
• You set priorities without losing sight of service and customer focus.
