Job summary

EMEA Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing international retail group to appoint a HR Business Partner for their Netherlands HQ in Amsterdam. You will partner with leaders across HQ and Retail to shape people strategy and support expansion into new European markets.

Ideal candidate will step up in HR, thrive in a dynamic, international environment, and drive impactful people initiatives. English fluency is required; Dutch language skills are highly desirable.

• Contribute to the development of scalable HR practices as they expand into new European markets.
• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on people-related topics.
• Collaborate with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition and L&D to ensure a strong and consistent employee experience.
• Coach and support Junior HR Business Partners working with our Retail organization.

EMEA Recruitment is excited to be exclusively partnered with a fast-growing, international retail group to appoint a HR Business Partner for their Netherlands HQ.

Due to expansion across Europe, they are strengthening the People team with the addition of a Human Resources Business Partner aligned to HQ and Retail.

In this pivotal role, you will partner closely with leaders across HQ and Retail, shaping people strategy, and supporting the journey into new European markets.

Key responsibilities of HR Business Partner:

• Partner with leaders across HQ and Retail
• Play an active role in organizational growth, change initiatives, and workforce planning
• Lead and support key HR processes across the employee lifecycle (performance, talent, engagement, employee relations)
• Contribute to the development of scalable HR practices as they expand into new European markets
• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on people-related topics

Experience required:

• Solid experience in HR in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Experience with Dutch and other European Countries labour law
• Exposure to retail, consumer goods, or similar people-driven industries
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset
• Comfort working across different populations (HQ & Retail) and adapting to different parts of the business
• Interest in learning, growth, and international collaboration
• Fluent in English; Dutch highly desirable. Other European languages are a plus
