Job summary

Peddler is seeking a hub operations role in Rotterdam to support last-mile delivery through our 100% electric fleet. You will manage shift handovers, onboarding, and problem-solving, ensuring hub readiness and smooth processes.

The role requires evening/morning availability and Saturdays, plus a focus on quality and safety in a fast-paced logistics environment. Ideal candidates are physically fit, disciplined, and able to work independently with a proactive, service-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Availability on evenings/mornings (4 weekdays + every Saturday)
• English level B2; Dutch not required
• Physically fit; able to walk and lift
• Eye for quality and safety; follow all rules
• Disciplined, well organized, able to focus for long periods
• Hub/logistics experience is a plus, not required
• Relevant certificates (EPT, forklift) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead communication between the hub and our headquarters.
• Close the hub and ensure everything is tidy and ready to go for the next shift.
• Support the team with onboarding, problem-solving, and answering their questions.
• Quality (and quantity) control for irregularities.
• Track hours, shifts, and KPIs for our biggest hub.
• Keep the hub running smoothly by fixing processes and removing blockers.

What You'll Need

• Availability on evenings/mornings (4 weekdays + every Saturday).
• B2-level English (Dutch is nice but not necessary!)
• An eye for quality, safety, and following all security-related rules.
• To be physically fit: you will be walking and lifting a lot.
• Discipline, good organisational skills, and the ability to focus for long periods of time.
• Previous experience working in a hub / logistics would be nice (but not necessary!)
• Any relevant certificate (EPT, forklift, etc.) would be nice.
