Job summary

Flink Food is seeking a Hub Manager to lead daily hub operations, ensuring efficient picking, packing and delivery while upholding safety and compliance standards. You will manage a team of shift leads and ops staff, report to the City Manager, and focus on delivering a top-tier customer experience.

With at least 3 years in operations and strong coaching skills, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive process improvements. English fluency is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an operational role focusing on process optimisation and team management.
• Experience managing a team with coaching and feedback skills.
• Data-driven with ability to translate KPIs into concrete processes.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach.
• Hands-on in picking, packing, and inbounding.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Available to work full-time.

Responsibilities

• Own the hub's operational flow—keep picking, packing, and delivery efficient and to standard.
• Lead safety and compliance topics including food hygiene, labour law, and safety.
• Report to City Manager together with 7–10 other Hub Managers.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Hub leadership team (Shift Leads, Ops Associates).
• Ensure superior customer experience by on-time, correct orders.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new pickers and riders for efficient and safe work.
• Manage scheduling for the entire team to ensure proper coverage.
• Foster a culture of ownership, mutual support, and motivation on the hub floor.
• Stay hands-on and involved in picking, packing, and inbounding activities.
