Job summary

Fastned UK Limited is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Officer for the Netherlands & Belgium to lead on-the-ground HSE representation and to own the HSE Culture and Training pillar across markets.

You will work with project managers, field operations and local leadership to drive incident management, training, toolbox talks and campaigns, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in an HSE position.
• Knowledge of Dutch/Belgian HSE legislation and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites and stakeholders.
• Strong incident investigation and corrective-action follow-through.
• Comfort using data and dashboards to monitor performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the HSE Culture & Training pillar across NL & BE and drive awareness across markets.
• Act as HSE contact for project managers, field technicians, contractors and suppliers.
• Deliver toolbox talks and hands-on HSE support in the field.
• Support implementation of HSE management systems and local procedures.
• Coordinate incident reporting and follow-up actions; monitor trends and drive improvements.
