Basic-Fit International B.V. is seeking an HRIS Product Manager to bridge business needs and IT delivery across Core HCM, Recruitment, Time Tracking, Absence, Performance, and Compensation.

This Is What Your Role Looks Like At Basic-Fit, our HR technology landscape is as fast-moving as the business itself. As our HRIS Product Manager, you are the crucial IT counterpart to our HR Business Process Owner. While the HR team sets the direction and identifies business needs across core functional areas—including Core HCM, Recruitment, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Performance Management, and Compensation—you are the person who makes sure it gets done. You will bridge the gap between business strategy and IT execution, taking ownership of the HRIS roadmap and driving the development cycle. Working closely with the HR Business Process Owner, technical specialists, and global stakeholders, you will translate business requirements into reality. From managing the product backlog to acting as a scrum master for the development team, you ensure our HR technology solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.

Your tasks:

• Capture & Translate: Partner with the HR Business Process Owner to take high-level business requirements and translate them into actionable, technical HRIS specifications.
• Roadmap & Prioritize: Own and manage the HRIS product roadmap, ensuring IT development aligns with the strategic direction set by HR and broader business objectives.
• Scrum Mastering: Guide the IT and development teams through agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and execution to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of HRIS features.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Act as the primary IT point of contact for the HR Business Process Owner and internal stakeholders. Additionally, work closely with third-party vendors for Application Management Services (AMS) and with Workday.
• System Architecture & Documentation: Oversee the structural integrity of the HRIS platform. Coordinate the maintenance of technical documentation, configuration changes, and system guidelines to ensure that global and local setups remain sustainable, secure, and optimally designed.
• Delivery, Releases & Testing: Monitor the successful deployment of system updates and continuously optimize system performance. Follow platform release cycles, analyze the technical impact of new functionalities, and lead testing activities for current configurations.

Who are you?

You are highly analytical, structured, and possess a deep understanding of how HR systems operate within a complex IT architecture. You know how to take high-level direction from the business and turn it into a clear, prioritized technical backlog. You are comfortable leading agile processes and managing both technical and non-technical stakeholders across different countries.

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Strong, hands-on experience in managing and configuring HRIS platforms.
• Workday experience is ideal, but expertise in Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors is also highly relevant.
• Proven experience in an international environment, managing complex cross-border HR technology setups specifically across our core regions: the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, and Germany.
• A strong background in product management, roadmapping, and requirements capture within the HRIS domain.
• Experience working within Agile development frameworks.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English; Dutch, French, Spanish, or German is a plus

Salary: A gross monthly salary between €5,400 and €7,400 based on 40 hours, depending on your experience and background.
