Job summary

Commerzbank BeNeLux in Amsterdam invites a dedicated trainee to join our HR Operations team as part of an 18-month program. You will support the entire employee lifecycle, assist recruitment, and help optimize local HR processes.

You bring a bachelor or master’s in Economics/HR, some HR exposure, fluency in English and Dutch, and strong MS Office skills. This role offers hands-on experience across SAP/EC, payroll systems, and regional HR projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics/HR
• First HR experience is an advantage
• Basic HR knowledge is an advantage
• Strong verbal and written English and Dutch communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Willingness to be proactive and flexible
• Contract up to 18 months

Responsibilities

• Support the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment and exits
• Assist recruitment from job ads to hiring and related admin
• Participate in HR projects (digitization, cloud solutions) and improve local HR processes
• Contribute to regional HR projects of HR Operations Western Europe
• Maintain employee data in SAP/EC and payroll systems
• Create reports for internal and external stakeholders
