Job summary

Commerzbank is seeking a Trainee Trade Service Specialist in Amsterdam (onsite) to join the Benelux branch. You will complete a structured trainee program that trains you to become a professional and service-oriented advisor for corporate clients in Trade Finance Operations.

During the program you will learn to support the Trade Finance Operations team, handle documents, learn guarantees and documentary trade products, build client knowledge, network with other trainees, and participate in

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics/finance or related fields, or completion of a commercial apprenticeship.
Enjoy working with customers and colleagues.
Curious by nature with strong organizational skills.
Fluent in English; Dutch or German mother tongue is a plus; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

Support and be part of Trade Finance Operations ensuring smooth processes for clients from start to finish and work in close cooperation with all relevant stakeholders.
Learn the Trade Finance product suite and support our clients who are acting globally.
Take care of the related documents handling.
Learn how to process domestic and international guarantees and the handling of the documentary trade finance product suite.
Gather insight and knowledge about our customer base and their needs and translate it into the best possible way to support them operationally.
Participate in junior events to network with other Trainees within the bank and to participate in training measures.
