Job summary

Van Oord is seeking an HR Technology Specialist (Talent Acquisition) to shape and extend our Workday ecosystem, connecting people, processes and technology across boundaries.

You will work across Workday areas and connected systems (Avature, Nétive), drive improvements, and translate business needs into scalable tech solutions. This role offers broad exposure and impact as our technology landscape evolves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, IT/IS, MIS or related field with several years of Workday experience.
• Broad understanding of HR technology with experience across multiple Workday areas or connected systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Proactive, adaptable mindset with ability to move between topics and projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across global, cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver improvements across the Workday ecosystem, from requirements gathering to design, configuration, testing and implementation.
• Improve integration and UX between Workday and Talent Acquisition systems (Avature, Nétive).
• Connect systems and processes, troubleshoot issues, manage dependencies and translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.
• Continuously simplify processes, improve data quality and maximize HR technology value.
• Collaborate across HR, IT and business to deliver roadmaps and drive adoption.
