Job summary

The HR Generalist role at AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. provides hands-on HR support across the Netherlands and Belgium, partnering with the HRBP and HR Operations Specialist to deliver accurate and compliant people processes.

You will handle onboarding, contracts, employee changes, benefits administration and HR data maintenance, while supporting payroll coverage and regional HR projects. English required; Dutch preferred for NL/BE support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• ≥3 years of HR operations or generalist experience.
• Dutch employment law knowledge preferred; Belgian requirements a plus.
• Experience with HR portals and occupational health processes (ArboNed a plus).
• Experience with HRIS and confidential records; multi-country support a plus.
• Payroll experience desirable for temporary coverage.
• Strong attention to detail, discretion, service orientation and organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on HR support across NL/BE cluster and ensure compliant processes.
• Coordinate onboarding, contracts, changes, transfers, promotions and offboarding.
• Administer benefits and maintain leave records per local rules.
• Coordinate sickness absence with occupational health providers.
• Support recruitment and HR projects under HRBP guidance.
• Assist HR operations with payroll coverage when needed.
• Maintain secure digital personnel records and support audits.
