Job summary

Celestix Industries India Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations at our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have strong plant HR experience, employee relations, recruitment, payroll coordination, compliance, and workforce management.

Role requires regular interaction with shop-floor employees, supervisors, managers, contractors, and plant leadership to ensure smooth HR operations. On-site, full-time position in manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; MBA/PG Diploma is a plus.
• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of plant HR, employee relations, and labour law compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations for the manufacturing/plant facility.
• Handle manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding and induction for staff, workers, and contract employees.
• Maintain employee records, attendance, leaves, shift schedules, and HR documentation.
• Coordinate with payroll teams for attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, and monthly payroll inputs.
• Manage employee relations and grievance handling at the plant.
• Support disciplinary actions, warnings, show-cause notices, and other employee matters.
• Coordinate with contractors for labour management and attendance.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
• Coordinate statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.
• Maintain HR registers, reports, and audits-ready documentation.
• Support performance management, employee engagement, training, and development.

The role requires regular interaction with shop-floor employees, supervisors, managers, contractors, and plant leadership to ensure smooth and effective HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations for the manufacturing/plant facility.
• Handle manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and induction for staff, workers, and contract employees.
• Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, shift schedules, and HR documentation.
• Coordinate with payroll teams for attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, and monthly payroll inputs.
• Manage employee relations and grievance handling at the plant.
• Support disciplinary actions, warning letters, show-cause notices, and other employee-related matters.
• Coordinate with contractors for contract labour management, manpower deployment, attendance, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, company policies, and HR procedures.
• Coordinate statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Contract Labour, Minimum Wages, Factory Act, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain HR-related registers, records, reports, and documentation required for audits and inspections.
• Support performance management, employee engagement, training, and development initiatives.
• Conduct employee orientation, HR meetings, and awareness sessions.
• Assist in maintaining a positive and disciplined shop-floor work environment.
• Monitor absenteeism, attrition, manpower productivity, and employee attendance trends.
• Coordinate with department heads regarding manpower requirements and workforce issues.
• Support internal, customer, and statutory HR/compliance audits.
• Prepare regular HR MIS reports covering manpower, attendance, attrition, overtime, recruitment, and other key HR metrics.
• Ensure implementation of HR policies and procedures across the plant.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA/PG Diploma in HR will be an advantage.
• 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of plant HR and employee relations.
• Good understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Experience handling blue-collar workforce and contract labour.
• Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong documentation and HR MIS skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and HRMS/ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in factory/plant HR, workforce management, contractor management, labour compliance, recruitment, payroll coordination, and employee relations will be preferred.
