Job summary

iPS Powerful People (B Corp™) is seeking an experienced HR Crew Consultant to support a crew discipline team across the full employment lifecycle. You will be the first contact for crew members and managers on HR topics, maintain records in the Crew Management System, and help improve HR processes and day-to-day operations.

You will work with managers to support employee growth, participate in interviews, and contribute to workforce planning and staffing needs for future crewing requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HR Generalist/Advisor roles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR/Business.
• Hands-on experience with employee relations and workforce planning.
• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch a plus.
• Experience in maritime/technical sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced HR Crew Consultant to join the team and support an assigned crew discipline team on a wide range of HR matters. Working closely with managers and operational teams, you will help ensure crew members receive the support they need throughout their employment lifecycle, while also contributing to workforce planning and team development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for crew members and managers on HR-related topics, including compensation, leave, attendance, and employee relations matters.
• Keep employee records and crew data accurate and up to date within the Crew Management System.
• Support initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and day-to-day ways of working.
• Work with managers to support employee growth, development, and career progression.
• Assist with workforce planning by reviewing staffing needs and identifying future crewing requirements.
• Maintain HR documentation, policies, procedures, and guidance materials.
• Partner with the recruitment team to discuss hiring needs and support workforce availability planning.
• Participate in interviews and candidate assessments alongside hiring managers and subject matter experts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Advisor, HR Officer, HR Consultant, or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with employee relations, absence management, compensation discussions, and workforce planning.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
• Experience in the maritime, marine, offshore, or technical sector is an advantage.
• Previous experience working with crew personnel or a seafaring background is a plus.
