Job summary

Demcon Enschede seeks an HR advisor to translate HR policies into practical solutions across our organization. You will partner with managers on a broad range of HR topics and ensure consistent application of HR processes and CLA guidelines.

You will support HR business partners and managers in complex employee cases while driving continuous improvements to our HR policies and practices. The role blends operational and strategic HR responsibilities in a growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an advisory HR role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and CLAs.
• Experience with HR systems and digital HR processes.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication and advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers on absenteeism, performance, development and employment law.
• Monitor absenteeism and support absence management processes.
• Support complex employee cases with HR partners and managers.
• Act as sparring partner on internal mobility, succession, and culture change.
• Coordinate performance and development review cycles.
• Plan and monitor progress of HR processes.

In this HR advisor role in Enschede (Staff & Management; Starter / junior), you will translate HR policies into practical solutions and contribute to a professional and future-oriented HR approach across our operating companies.

As an HR advisor, you will be a trusted sparring partner for managers on a wide range of HR topics. You will support the execution of HR processes, safeguard the quality of the employee lifecycle, and contribute to the ongoing development of HR policies and practices. In doing so, you will work closely with HR business partners, HR officers, and managers throughout the organization.

What are you going to do?

As an HR advisor, you will advise and support managers and employees on a broad range of HR-related topics. You will help ensure that HR policies are applied consistently across the organization and contribute to the effective execution and continuous improvement of HR processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising managers on absenteeism, performance, employee development, and employment law matters;
• Monitoring absenteeism figures and supporting absence management processes and case documentation;
• Supporting HR business partners and managers with complex employee cases, such as performance improvement and exit trajectories;
• Acting as a sparring partner on tactical HR topics, including internal mobility, succession planning, team development, and cultural change initiatives;
• Coordinating the performance and development review cycle;
• Planning and monitoring the progress of HR processes;
• Ensuring the correct application of collective labor agreements (CLA) and HR policies;
• Contributing to strategic workforce planning and HR policy development;
• Participating in HR projects and supporting the further professionalization of the HR function;
• Identifying relevant HR trends and developments and translating them into practical applications within the organization;
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with managers and employees;
• Delivering presentations, workshops, and interactive sessions on HR-related topics;
• Serving as an approachable and trusted point of contact for HR matters across the organization.

What do you bring to the table?

You are a confident HR professional who can easily switch between operational and tactical HR topics. You know how to build trust, provide constructive advice, and maintain an overview in a dynamic environment.

In addition, you bring:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field;
• At least 2 years of experience in an advisory HR role;
• Knowledge of employment law, social legislation, and collective labor agreements (CLAs);
• Experience with HR systems and digital HR processes;
• Strong communication and advisory skills;
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
