Job summary

Demcon is seeking an IT software developer to help make business processes smarter and more efficient. You will work in Enschede within the IT application office, handling internal applications used across the organization and driving digitalization.

You will translate business requirements into robust software, work on integrations with AFAS, IFS Cloud, SolidWorks PDM, and Microsoft 365, and continuously improve processes through automation and thoughtful design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with C# programming.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

What are you going to do?

As an IT software developer, you will be part of the IT application office in Enschede. You will be responsible for the management, further development, and support of internally developed applications that are used throughout the entire organization.

Working closely with business analysts, you will translate business requirements into efficient processes and implement them within our applications. You will contribute to integrations between key business systems, including AFAS, IFS Cloud, SolidWorks PDM, and Microsoft 365.

In addition, you will be involved in:

• Developing and maintaining in-house software using C#;
• Designing and optimizing SQL queries;
• Developing and managing API integrations between systems;
• Automating and improving business processes;
• Translating functional requirements into sustainable technical solutions;
• Collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines across Demcon;
• This is a versatile role in which you will play an important part in the continued digitalization and optimization of our organization.
