Job summary

Responsibilities

• Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation: make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize bathrooms, replenish amenities.
• Public Area Maintenance: keep corridors, stairs, and closets clean; manage trash and recycling.
• Laundry & Linen Management: handle soiled linens and restock clean supplies.
• Inventory & Supplies: restock cleaning products, linen, and amenities to standards.
• Guest Service: respond to requests promptly and report safety issues to supervisor.
• Safety & Compliance: follow health and safety standards and proper chemical usage.
• Quality Assurance: perform self-inspections and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Team Collaboration: communicate with team and assist training as needed.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing guest rooms and public areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other team members, contributing directly to the guest experience and the hotel's reputation for high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation: Make beds and change linens; dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean and sanitize bathrooms; replenish guest amenities (towels, toiletries, water, etc.).
• Public Area Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, stairwells, and housekeeping closets; empty trash bins and recycle as needed.
• Laundry & Linen Management: Remove and transport soiled linens to the laundry area; restock clean linens and towels.
• Inventory & Supplies: Maintain housekeeping cart supplies, regularly restocking cleaning products, linen, and amenities to meet operational standards.
• Guest Service: Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests -, e.g., extra pillows, blankets, or toiletries -, and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all health and safety standards, including correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment; report any hazards or accidents.
• Quality Assurance: Perform self-inspections, report problems, and work with the housekeeping team to maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors; assist with training or mentoring new attendants if necessary.
