Job summary

CCS Cleaning is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant in the Netherlands to join our housekeeping team on a 30-hour workweek. You will clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.

Working closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will contribute to guest satisfaction and uphold our standards of cleanliness and care, while adapting to changing schedules and priorities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred but not required
• Physical endurance and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as required

Responsibilities

• Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation: Make beds and change linens; dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean and sanitize bathrooms; replenish guest amenities (towels, toiletries, water, etc.).
• Public Area Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, stairwells, and housekeeping closets; empty trash bins and recycle as needed.
• Laundry & Linen Management: Remove and transport soiled linens to the laundry area; restock clean linens and towels.
• Inventory & Supplies: Maintain housekeeping cart supplies, regularly restocking cleaning products, linen, and amenities to meet operational standards.
• Guest Service: Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests — e.g., extra pillows, blankets, or toiletries — and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all health and safety standards, including correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment; report any hazards or accidents.
• Quality Assurance: Perform self-inspections, report problems, and work with the housekeeping team to maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors; assist with training or mentoring new attendants if necessary
