Job summary

CCS Cleaning is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant for Amsterdam Centre to keep guest rooms and public areas clean and welcoming. You will collaborate with the Housekeeping Supervisor and team to uphold high standards in a busy hotel environment.

The role is full-time, 38 hours per week, based in Amsterdam Centre. You must be located in The Netherlands to be eligible for this role, and a valid work permit is required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Physical endurance for standing, bending, and lifting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; adaptable to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation: Make beds, change linens, clean bathrooms, replenish amenities.
• Public Area Maintenance: Clean corridors and common areas, empty trash and recycle.
• Laundry & Linen Management: Transport soiled linens, restock clean linens and towels.
• Inventory & Supplies: Restock cleaning products, linen, and amenities.
• Guest Service: Respond to guest requests and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow health and safety standards with chemicals and equipment.
• Quality Assurance: Self-inspections and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate with team and supervisors; assist training.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing guest rooms and public areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other team members, contributing directly to the guest experience and the hotel's reputation for high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation : Make beds and change linens; dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean and sanitize bathrooms; replenish guest amenities (towels, toiletries, water, etc.).
• Public Area Maintenance : Maintain the cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, stairwells, and housekeeping closets; empty trash bins and recycle as needed.
• Laundry & Linen Management : Remove and transport soiled linens to the laundry area; restock clean linens and towels.
• Inventory & Supplies : Maintain housekeeping cart supplies, regularly restocking cleaning products, linen, and amenities to meet operational standards.
• Guest Service : Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests — e.g., extra pillows, blankets, or toiletries — and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Safety & Compliance : Follow all health and safety standards, including correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment; report any hazards or accidents.
• Quality Assurance : Perform self-inspections, report problems, and work with the housekeeping team to maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness.
• Team Collaboration : Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors; assist with training or mentoring new attendants if necessary.

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred but not required
