Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking a Housekeeping Management Intern for nhow Amsterdam RAI. You will assist with quality room checks, openings and closings, and work alongside Floor Supervisors in a vibrant design hotel with 650 rooms.

You must be enrolled in a Tourism/Hotel Management program and available for at least four months. The role offers hands-on training, multicultural teamwork, and a generous internship package including trainings and staff activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Tourism, Hotel Management, or related course.
• Available for at least 4 months (16 weeks).
• Willing to work hands-on in a high-volume hotel.
• Curious, results-oriented, and detail-oriented.
• Able to communicate with international guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily housekeeping operations and quality checks.
• Support opening/closing routines and audits.
• Collaborate with Floor Supervisors and HSK staff.
• Contribute to team events and guest experiences.

nhow Amsterdam RAI is a social and multicultural hub for globetrotters, business travelers and Amsterdammers. The iconic building, facing in different directions, symbolizes the melting pot that the city of Amsterdam has always been and still is. Located in the Zuidas, right next to the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, the impressive 91-meter-high building offers its guests a dynamic headquarters and home base.

For this iconic building we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Housekeeping Management Intern who is ready to join a dynamic design hotel. With its 650 rooms, we are one of the largest hotels in the Netherlands. The Housekeeping team consists of about 80 colleagues working directly with us or as part of an external agency. The team is international, so you get the chance to practice your world languages.

What part will you play in creating the unforgettable?

As a Housekeeping Management Intern, you will be working in an all-round position where the focus is on the quality of the rooms and general areas in the hotel. In this role, you will learn a lot about the Housekeeping department and managing its various tasks and functions. Specifically, you will learn about quality audits, about checking rooms, how to do \"opening\" and \"closing\", and much more. You will work closely with the other Floor Supervisors and with HSK Assistant Managers.
