Job summary

Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport offers an internship in housekeeping, starting September 2026 for 5 to 12 months. You will gain practical management experience and develop leadership skills within a dynamic hotel environment near Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam city centre.

Responsibilities include supporting daily housekeeping operations, coordinating room cleaning schedules, maintaining cleanliness and brand standards, and training team members.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study programme.
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality guest experiences.
• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working.
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Support the supervision of daily housekeeping operations and team activities.
• Assist in coordinating room cleaning schedules and public area maintenance.
• Ensure cleanliness, quality, and brand standards are consistently maintained.
• Support training and coaching of team members to achieve service excellence.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as planning, reporting, and quality checks.
• Monitor room status updates and communicate effectively with the Front Office.
• Support stock control and inventory management for housekeeping supplies.
