Job Description

ECU Department of ITCS is currently seeking several Salesforce Pirate360 Student Workers to support the University’s enterprise Salesforce system, rotating through three support roles – Administrator, Business Analyst, and Quality Assurance Analyst. The position provides hands‑on experience participating in real enterprise projects while developing skills in Salesforce administration, business analysis, and quality assurance.

In the Salesforce Student/Learner Administrator role, this position supports platform administration, declarative development, configuration, automation, testing, and project delivery activities for ECU’s enterprise Salesforce initiatives. Working under the guidance of Salesforce administrators, business analysts, developers, project leaders, and professional Salesforce consultants, the student assists with building and maintaining Salesforce solutions, supporting configuration and implementation activities, validating functionality, documenting technical components, and contributing to platform enhancements.

In the Salesforce Student Business Analyst role, this position supports business analysis, documentation, testing, and project delivery activities for ECU’s enterprise Salesforce initiatives. Working under the guidance of Salesforce administrators, business analysts, developers, project leaders, and professional Salesforce consultants, the student assists in gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing business processes, supporting Agile delivery activities, developing project documentation, and validating delivered solutions.

In the Salesforce Student Quality Assurance Analyst role, this position supports testing, validation, documentation, and project delivery activities for ECU’s enterprise Salesforce initiatives. Working under the guidance of Salesforce administrators, business analysts, developers, project leaders, and professional Salesforce consultants, the student assists with validating requirements, developing and executing test scenarios, documenting defects, supporting user acceptance testing activities, and helping ensure delivered solutions meet quality expectations.
