Job summary

Conscious Hotels seeks a Head of Technical Services to lead our five Conscious Hotels, including four in Amsterdam and one in Utrecht. You will coach a regional team, champion preventive maintenance, and manage central maintenance contracts with external partners.

You will collaborate with Hotel Managers to drive safe, efficient, and sustainable operations while optimizing energy use and reliability across all sites.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in technical services, building maintenance, or facilities engineering.
• Experience as Head of Technical Services in a hotel, hospitality, or multi-site environment is preferred.
• Comfortable coordinating multiple locations, suppliers and maintenance contracts.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and safety (fire safety; legionella management is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Coach and support Technical Services staff across Conscious Hotels to develop expertise and resolve complex issues.
• Step in during large breakdowns and collaborate with local staff to diagnose and fix problems.
• Advise Hotel Managers on maintenance, installations, repairs and improvements.
• Manage central maintenance contracts and oversee external partners.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is performed on schedule and according to standards.
