Job summary

citizenM Amsterdam is hiring for a part-time Night Concierge at our Amsterdam location. You’ll be the friendly face greeting guests, handling check-in, and supporting operations during the night shift. This role blends hospitality, barista and concierge duties with a focus on exceptional service.

English fluency is required; other languages are welcome. Right to work in the Netherlands is a must. We offer competitive pay, travel allowance, meal and coffee on shift, and career development

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly as they arrive.
• Assist guests at self check-in kiosks.

• Act as a city concierge for guest recommendations.
• Maintain the living room and organize displays.
• Assist guests with facility requests.
• Manage reservations in PMS and conduct night audit.
• Handle night shift operations and keys.
• Care for guests including emergencies.

Compensation: €2,744 / month

With us, you’ll become a champion multitasker – customer service, receptionist, concierge, barista, mixologist, problem solver and more. You will be a citizenM night ambassador, free to be yourself to do the best job you can. We believe in making work fun. If you’re having a great experience, so will our guests.

Your typical citizenM shift could include:

• Making sure everyone gets a warm welcome as soon as they walk in;
• Helping guests at the self check-in kiosks (we have no reception desk);
• Cleaning, preparing and serving hot and cold breakfast and meals;
• Brewing delicious coffee or mixing a signature cocktail;
• Being a secret concierge to the city, answering guests’ questions about the best places to visit, eat, shop or party;
• Maintaining the living room and cleaning canteenM, and arranging food displays for the following shift;
• Helping our guests with any requests or demands regarding our facilities (you may even get some new tech skills);
• Handling reservations in our property management system (PMS), including the daily the night audit;
• Holding the keys to the castle; responsible for operations during the night shifts;
• Taking care of our guests including in emergency situations.

Typical shifts are:

our hotel operates 24/7 with a rotating flexible schedule, including

• Overnight: 10:50PM-7:10AM;
• Each shift includes a paid briefing!
• Availability to work weekends is required!
