Job summary

NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace is seeking a Maintenance Employee to join the in-house maintenance team in Amsterdam. You will monitor and repair the building's technical systems and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure guest comfort.

You will support the maintenance manager, coordinate with external vendors, and help manage energy costs while delivering excellent service in a landmark hotel. Fluency in Dutch and/or English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Broad technical knowledge of building services and systems.
• Willingness to perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to repair a range of hotel equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance manager with day-to-day tasks.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Perform corrective maintenance in a timely manner.
• Support security measures and ensure permits are available.
• Assist in vendor contract proposals and energy management.
• Coordinate external vendors with hotel departments.
