Job summary

Ruby Hotels in Amsterdam seeks a versatile maintenance technician to ensure guest comfort and safety by handling repairs, monitoring systems, and coordinating daily operations.

You will work with external service providers, align with our Munich Corporate Office and housekeeping, and perform painting, sealing, and safety checks. Fluent Dutch is required; English is a plus. This full-time role includes a mobility allowance and provided workwear.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in HVAC, plumbing or electrical work.
• Several years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Ability to manage external service providers efficiently while staying on top of things.
• Fluent in Dutch; English skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• take care of small repairs, touch-ups and maintenance tasks – from dripping taps to squeaky doors
• keep an eye on all technical systems and make sure everything runs smoothly
• coordinate external service providers and keep the strings in your hands when it comes to facility management
• roll up your sleeves for painting and sealing work throughout the hotel
• work hand in hand with our Corporate Office in Munich and stay closely aligned with the housekeeping team
• monitor regular maintenance and safety checks – always in coordination with our Maintenance Manager
• order the materials you need for your work – in consultation with the Hotel Manager
