Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts is seeking an in-house Maintenance Employee for NH Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to monitor building systems and carry out repairs. The role is on-site in Hoofddorp, NL, within the Maintenance Department, reporting to the maintenance manager and coordinating with external vendors as needed.

As part of the NH team, you will oversee preventive maintenance, respond to issues promptly, and help manage energy use to keep guest facilities reliable and comfortable.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience required.
• Able to repair a wide range of equipment.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance manager in day-to-day work and oversee preventive maintenance.
• Carry out all corrective maintenance activities in a timely manner.
• Assist in the implementation of security measures and supervise availability of necessary permits.
• Organize with the manager the proposals for investment, replacement, adjustment of contracts with vendors.
• Support the maintenance manager in coordinating external vendors into the hotel across departments.
• Collaborate in monitoring energy consumption and maintenance costs (water and electricity).
• Assist in setting up meeting rooms (audiovisuals, lighting) and resolving guest incidents.
