Job summary

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is seeking an All Round Maintenance Employee / Engineer to keep hotel facilities safe and functional. You’ll perform preventive maintenance across all areas, locate and repair faults, conduct rounds, liaise with external contractors, and manage Building Management System operations.

The role offers a strong team culture, training opportunities, and salary under Dutch Horeca CLA with the scale provided.

Qualifications

• You are eligible to work in the Netherlands.
• Strong English language skills and preferably Dutch.
• You have technical insight and affinity with repair work.
• Ability to work rotating shifts (morning/evening) and weekends.
• You have experience in leading a team.
• You thrive in a dynamic hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• You will focus on daily maintenance of all areas and preventive maintenance.
• You will locate technical failures and ensure they are resolved.
• You will conduct inspection rounds in the hotel.
• You will contact third parties for issues beyond the team.
• You will operate and ensure proper function of the Building Management System.
• You will handle administrative tasks related to the Engineering department.
