Job summary

FairPlay Engineering in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced High Voltage Cost Engineer to deliver accurate cost estimates for complex energy and infrastructure projects. You will translate project requirements and technical specs into reliable calculations to support strategic decisions.

Collaborating with PM, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Contract Management and QHSE, you will drive estimating improvements and provide handovers after tender awards for projects ranging from smaller

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience on high-voltage projects, substations or power infrastructure.
Experience with cost estimating, tendering, project calculations, or bid preparation.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical and commercial information.
Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills.
Fluency in Dutch and English.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive cost estimates by analyzing tender documents and specs.
Prepare detailed project calculations aligned with tender objectives.
Collaborate with PM, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Contract Management and QHSE to gather cost data.
Improve estimating methodologies, tools and processes.
Provide clear handovers to project execution after tender awards.
Review past projects and historical tenders to identify lessons learned and improve estimates.
Contribute to projects from small tasks to large HV infrastructure programs.
