DRW is a diversified trading firm leveraging technology and people to operate globally. The Trading Systems Engineer will support core proprietary trading systems and adjust parameters during trading hours.

Based in Amsterdam, you will deploy, monitor, and automate configuration while coordinating with DBAs, developers, and infrastructure teams. Strong Linux, scripting, and networking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting high performance trading systems and monitoring.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Familiarity with FIX and exchange protocols a plus.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef and Ansible.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Kibana, Grafana.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide mission critical support for core proprietary trading systems.
• Maintain and adjust trading parameters during market hours.
• Develop automation tools to streamline deployment and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot production incidents across Linux and Windows environments.
• Collaborate with DBAs, development and infrastructure teams on releases.
• Ensure high availability of trading systems and data feeds.
