Job summary

Allseas in Delft seeks a Project Engineer to lead the engineering delivery of heavy lift installation projects. You will guide a multidisciplinary team of Structural Engineers, Heavy Lift Engineers, Naval Architects and CAD engineers to craft fit-for-purpose solutions for transport and installation of large offshore structures.

The role reports to the Unit Head Project Engineering and requires translating client requirements into clear plans, maintaining backlog, and ensuring on-schedule

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, civil, aerospace or maritime engineering.
• Around three years of relevant offshore/marine/heavy lift project experience.
• Ready to progress from technical engineering to Project Engineer role.
• Ability to translate multidisciplinary challenges into clear priorities and actions.
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills.
• Willing to travel and work offshore when required.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Discuss project needs and requirements directly with clients.
• Translate goals and priorities into a clear engineering plan.
• Create and maintain the team backlog with clearly defined deliverables.
• Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks and support timely decisions.
• Maintain close contact with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables for fit-for-purpose results.
• Represent the team and promote cooperation, transparency and continuous improvement.
