Allseas in Delft seeks a Project Engineer to lead the engineering delivery of heavy lift installation projects. You will guide a multidisciplinary team of Structural Engineers, Heavy Lift Engineers, Naval Architects and CAD engineers to craft fit-for-purpose solutions for transport and installation of large offshore structures.
The role reports to the Unit Head Project Engineering and requires translating client requirements into clear plans, maintaining backlog, and ensuring on-schedule
Installing some of the world’s largest offshore structures requires more than innovative engineering. It takes clear direction, close cooperation and someone who can bring technical disciplines together to turn complex challenges into practical solutions.
Offshore wind is growing fast. Large-scale wind farms and next-generation offshore grid systems require increasingly complex transport and installation solutions.
Within Allseas, the Heavy Lift Engineering department plays a key role in this development. Using our unique heavy lift capabilities - including the world-leading vessel Pioneering Spirit - we install large offshore structures such as jackets, foundations and converter platforms for offshore wind projects, weighing up to 60.000 tons.
Which is where you come in!
We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead the engineering delivery of our heavy lift installation projects. Reporting directly to the Unit Head Project Engineering, you will be responsible for delivering fit-for-purpose engineering products that meet the requirements of the project, client and other stakeholders. You create structure and overview, set priorities and enable the engineering team to deliver within the agreed scope and schedule.
From concept development and detailed engineering to fabrication, yard activities and offshore execution, you will be involved throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with engineering disciplines, project management, clients and subcontractors, you will connect technical expertise with project objectives.
