Job description

As an Offshore Heavy Lift Engineer, you won’t actually be offshore all the time. You will travel occasionally to oversee the execution of the projects that you helped define, engineer and plan. At the start of these - quite often record-breaking - single-lift removal or installation projects, you will investigate all the possibilities by performing feasibility studies. You will oversee the basic engineering and its interface with all related disciplines in order to come to the right solution. You will learn how to prepare and plan the execution of the most difficult offshore lift operations with the most advanced equipment there is!

What you will do
  • Performing FEED and feasibility studies, the writing method and execution statements for commercial bids
  • Executing inspections and defining project requirements with the client
  • Providing engineering support and communicating with everyone involved in-house, and externally, to define the best solution
  • Developing the timeline and planning different phases of the execution
  • Keeping updated on the latest developments by learning and improving your skills

  • Be part of a team that is constantly pushing the boundaries of offshore installation and heavy lift
  • Direct and open communication style, “get the job done”
  • Great project outlook: state-of-the-art fleet fully booked for next 3 years
  • Diverse, international teams working on global projects and developments
  • Do you want to be a leader? Do you want to break records? Well, here it is, waiting for you!
What you already have

  • Ability to work in a high-paced, international environment
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team and clients worldwide
  • Available for full-time work in The Hague area, and occasional traveling around the globe
  • Passion for driving offshore technological solutions is key
  • More time to enjoy life: 30 paid holidays every year.
