Allseas, a leader in offshore heavy lift operations, invites Junior Heavy Lift Engineers to join a multidisciplinary Agile team developing concepts and detailed engineering for topsides and jackets up to 60,000 tonnes.
You will work from design to on-site support, interface with clients and vessel crews, and contribute to the energy transition in offshore wind. The role requires a MSc/BSc in engineering, offshore willingness, and English fluency.
Offshore wind is growing fast. The Netherlands is at the forefront of this transition, with ambitious targets for offshore wind capacity in the coming decade. Large-scale wind farms and next‑generation offshore grid systems require increasingly complex transport and installation solutions.
Within Allseas, the Heavy Lift Engineering department plays a key role in this development. Using our unique heavy lift capabilities - including the world-leading vessel Pioneering Spirit - we install large offshore structures such as jackets, foundations and converter platforms for offshore wind projects, weighing up to 60.000 tons. Something no other company can do!
To support the growing portfolio of offshore wind installation projects, we are always open to connect with Junior Heavy Lift Engineers with a strong interest in installation engineering and the energy transition.
Playing an active role in the energy transition, you will be part of a multidisciplinary Agile team comprising creative Structural Engineers, Heavy Lift Engineers, Naval Architects and Draftsmen.
The team drives concept development and basic and detailed engineering phases for the installation of topsides and jacket structures up to 60,000 tonnes. From design and engineering, fabrication of innovative lifting tools and supports, preparation of procedures and manuals through to on-site support during yard and offshore execution, you will be involved in the entire engineering process.
Working at Allseas allows you the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with creative thinking, collaboration and down-to-earth culture at its core.
