Job summary

DeepHealth is seeking a Senior Data Manager to own data topics across medical AI products, from dataset creation to annotation workflows and performance monitoring. You will design tooling and data architectures, build reusable pipelines, and mentor junior team members in a hybrid office setting.

Collaborate with radiologists, product managers, AI engineers, and clinical researchers to advance medical imaging projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a health-related or scientific field (required).
• 5+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, or data science, ideally in healthcare or medical imaging (required).
• Excellent proficiency in Python and databases such as BigQuery and MongoDB (required).
• Ability to structure, document, industrialize, and optimize data processes and tools (required).
• Experience writing automated tests and using code versioning and review (required).
• Knowledge of medical imaging and how data and annotations shape AI development (required).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail (required).
• Ability to translate needs between technical and non-technical stakeholders and mentor others (required).
• Ability to manage multiple topics while maintaining a broader product/data view (required).
• Preferred: Machine learning understanding.
• Preferred: Experience with medical device development

Responsibilities

• Own data topics across products end-to-end such as dataset creation and data export.
• Design and maintain reusable tooling, pipelines, dashboards, and automation.
• Make data architecture decisions and maintain code quality and efficiency.
• Surface actionable insights from the data lake for product, AI, and clinical stakeholders.
• Drive data targeting and collection.
• Build medically consistent and representative datasets.
• Establish annotation guidelines and training for quality.
• Contribute to AI algorithm performance oversight.
• Mentor junior data team members.
• Write automated tests and apply versioning and review standards.
