Lely is seeking a Head of Program Delivery in Maassluis to define the strategic direction for delivering complex programs across the Product Development landscape.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive Stage-Gate and Agile practices, and ensure alignment with business objectives, knowledge sharing, and resource planning. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on development and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Around 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership skills and experience developing team leads, project leads and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with program or project delivery in a complex, cross-functional environment.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into clear priorities and practical plans.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong coaching skills to develop leaders and teams.
• Experience with resource planning, budget responsibility, and balancing capacity, costs and delivery needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the strategic direction for program delivery across the Competence Center and Business Teams.
• Lead and develop the Competence Center through a strong leadership team and a clear leadership structure.
• Strengthen collaboration with Business Teams to establish consistent ways of working for program delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement by combining Stage-Gate project management with Agile methods.
• Ensure knowledge development, lifecycle management and documentation at project, product and competence level.
• Oversee strategic workforce planning, resource allocation and theCompetence Center budget, and develop external partnerships.
