Job summary

SkinVision, Amsterdam-based medical tech company, seeks a Head of Operations to lead support, clinical review, patient follow-up, and tooling. You will shape the operational strategy, scale the team, and set audit-ready standards across markets, balancing speed, cost, and safety in a regulated environment.

You will partner with Finance, Regulatory, and Clinical teams while driving data-driven decisions and process improvements that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of operations experience, including managing team leads directly.
• Experience operating within a regulated or safety‑critical environment, with a sharp understanding of compliance boundaries.
• Track record of growing a function's scope beyond stabilisation and efficiency.
• Skilled at building a business case and presenting it before leadership.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication with technical, clinical, and commercial stakeholders.
• Willingness to surface trade‑offs between speed, cost, and safety explicitly.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction, structure, and budget for Operations, determining what should be built internally, automated, or outsourced.
• Grow the team by hiring strong people and coaching them into future leaders.
• Define the standards that keep a small, safety‑critical operation running consistently and audit‑ready at all times.
• Bring operational data together into one shared view across functions, and assess product performance by market.
• Lead the human‑review process that protects accuracy of results, balancing speed and safety.
• Ensure patient communication and follow‑up remain safe, empathetic, and consistent across markets.
• Convert findings into clear input for Product and Commercial teams.
• Collaborate with Finance, Regulatory, and Clinical teams on shared processes and data.
• Identify and address operational capability needs ahead of demand.
