Job summary

PUM, a Netherlands-based NGO, seeks a Head of Programmes Non- Food to lead a team of seven Programme Managers and report to the Operations Director. You will align programmes with strategic priorities, secure funding opportunities, and coordinate with global stakeholders to deliver impactful projects.

You will oversee programme planning, ecosystem development, and the expert community while ensuring compliance and high performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
10+ years of relevant experience, including management team experience.
Proven track record in securing funding across multiple programmes.
Experience leading diverse teams and delivering impact.
Strong intercultural communication and collaboration across departments.
Fluent in Dutch and English; based in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

Act as Head of Programmes Non-Food and member of the Management Team.
Lead seven Programme Managers and coordinate programmes with skilled volunteers.
Translate strategy into practical plans and ensure alignment with funding opportunities.
Drive development of programme plans to strengthen ecosystems and partnerships.
Build and guide an expert community to meet current and future needs.
Collaborate with Heads of Food, Region Asia & South America, and Region Africa.
Monitor data and analytics to provide strategic guidance and ensure policy compliance.
