ASICS EMEA in Hoofddorp is seeking a Head of Finance Operations to lead optimization efforts in financial operations across the EMEA region. The role involves managing a team of 26 and ensuring efficient credit control, accounts payable, and treasury functions.

Job description

At ASICS, you'll contribute to the company's mission by leading the optimisation of finance operations across the EMEA region. As Head of Finance Operations, you'll drive excellence in credit control, accounts payable, and treasury functions whilst managing a team of 26 employees, ensuring working capital requirements are minimised, cash flow is optimised, and the financial position across EMEA markets is strengthened.

Your role will be instrumental in driving innovation and operational excellence.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Oversee credit control and collections management across ASICS EMEA to optimise Days Sales Outstanding and minimise risk exposure.
• Assess the creditworthiness of customers across the EMEA region and manage collections, dunning and the cash application processes.
• Manage accounts payable operations to ensure timely invoice processing and payments whilst maintaining compliance with internal policies.
• Direct treasury operations including cash management, cash flow forecasting, bank account rationalisation, and foreign exchange risk mitigation through hedging strategies.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to strengthen operational efficiency and reduce working capital.
• Ensure compliance with J‑SOX requirements and design and govern EMEA finance policies to maintain robust internal controls.
• Serve as a key business partner across functions to optimise cash flow and enhance the organisation's overall financial strength.

You have the following skills:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or Accountancy
• SAP or SAP S/4HANA experience
• Strong people management and motivational skills.
• Preferably, at least 6 years of experience managing a team.
• Process optimisation and automation capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• SAP BI (Analysis for Office) and/or SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) is preferred
• 10+ years of experience in Finance Operations within an international shared services environment.
