Job summary

Advidi is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead an organization of about 10–12 engineers across two development teams. You will shape engineering strategy, drive delivery, and ensure technical quality while partnering with product, commercial, and operations to align initiatives with business goals.

You will bridge technology and business priorities, contribute to architecture decisions, and advance AI adoption across the engineering function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a senior engineering management role or Head of Engineering.
• Experience managing an engineering group of 10+ people.
• Accountable for engineering delivery, people development, technical quality, and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering organization of approximately 10–12 people across two development teams.
• Directly manage, coach, and develop engineers.
• Own engineering delivery, technical quality, team health, and engineering culture.
• Work with the CTO on engineering strategy, priorities, and platform direction.
• Partner with product, commercial, operations, and other stakeholders to align engineering with business goals.
• Translate opportunities into clear technical direction and execution plans.
• Represent engineering in cross-functional discussions and advocate for technology and AI adoption.
• Drive AI transformation through AI-assisted workflows and internal tooling.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions and trade-offs.
• Improve reliability, scalability, maintainability, and observability of product portfolio.
• Balance product innovation with speed, debt management, and platform health.
