Job summary

CostPerform is seeking a Head of Engineering to own the engineering organisation, blending technical leadership with people management and technology strategy. You will coach the team, drive AI adoption, and translate strategy into execution, helping shape the next generation of the CostPerform platform.

Working with the CTO, you will lead a multi-year transformation to modernise the stack, evolve from a desktop-based application to a browser-native platform, and scale in AWS, ensuring

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Experience leading and managing engineering teams.
• Experience conducting 1-on-1s, coaching, and performance management.
• Experience working in product-driven environments and platform modernisation.

Responsibilities

• Stay technically close enough to guide architectural decisions and contribute where value is highest.
• Lead by example in engineering quality, architecture, and standards.
• Own and execute the engineering roadmap with the CTO.
• Drive platform modernisation and cloud scalability in AWS.
