Job summary

Partner Company is seeking a Director, Drug Product to lead end‑to‑end small molecule product development from early clinical stages through lifecycle management. The role is fully remote and focused on coordinating formulation, process development, scale‑up, and CDMO partnerships across multiple programs.

You will guide manufacturing readiness, regulatory submissions, and strategic decisions while working with CMC, Quality, Regulatory, Analytical Development, and Clinical Supply teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field with 10+ years of pharma/biotech experience.
• Experience leading drug product formulation and process development programs.
• Strong CDMO management and external partner oversight in outsourcing models.
• Experience authoring/regulatory submissions (CMC) and implementing regulatory expectations.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable technical and business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead drug product CMC strategy and execution for small molecule programs across development to lifecycle management.
• Direct formulation and process development for oral solid dosage forms including scale‑up and control strategies.
• Provide technical leadership for technology transfers, process characterization, and manufacturing readiness.
• Oversee selection and performance of CDMOs and external partners.
• Ensure budgets, timelines, and quality measures are met for external activities.
• Author and review CMC sections of regulatory submissions and technical reports.
• Communicate risks and recommendations to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Stay current with regulatory expectations and drive continuous improvement in drug product development.
