Job summary

Eurocept Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Project Manager Product Development to lead pharmaceutical product development projects from initiation through market registration. You will develop and manage plans, timelines, resources and budgets, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external partners.

You will contribute CMC expertise to lifecycle strategies for commercial products and act as the primary contact for regulatory affairs, quality assurance, supply chain and CMOs/CDMOs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in pharmacy, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a project management role.
• At least 5 years of experience in CMC development, preferably in process or product development.
• Strong understanding of GMP, EMA/FDA regulations, CMC documentation and quality systems; CMOs/CDMOs experience is a must.
• Proactive, structured, strong communication skills, and resilient under pressure.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from initiation through market registration.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Oversee evaluation/onboarding of new API suppliers, technology transfers, upscaling, process development and validation.
• Contribute CMC expertise to lifecycle strategies for commercial products.
• Primary contact for regulatory affairs, quality assurance, supply chain and CMOs/CDMOs.
• Lead project meetings, keep stakeholders informed of progress and risks, resolve technical issues.
• Ensure delivery on time and within budget; ensure GMP/GDP compliance.
• Align with regulatory, quality and commercial requirements, focusing on patient value and operational efficiency.
