Job summary

Mostyn Chase in Amsterdam is seeking a Head of Desk to build, lead and grow an Italian sales desk within FX & International Payments. You will set the commercial strategy, originate and close key relationships, and report directly to the Country CEO.

You will manage a high-performing team, drive revenue against targets, and maintain disciplined pricing while ensuring regulatory compliance across European FX.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in FX, international payments or financial markets sales.
• A proven record of revenue delivery against target.
• Experience leading sales teams as Head of Desk, Sales Manager or Team Lead.
• Fluency in Italian and English (additional European languages welcome).
• An established network in the Italian corporate and institutional market.
• Confidence owning pricing and margin conversations.
• A solid understanding of European FX and payments regulation.

We are looking for a Head of Desk to build, lead and grow an Italian sales desk for an established international payments business. This is a senior, highly visible role reporting directly to the Country CEO. You will set the commercial strategy for the Italian market, develop a team of sales professionals and stay close to clients by originating and closing key relationships yourself.
