Job summary

Accell Group is seeking a Bikes BU Strategy & Operations Director in Amsterdam with a hybrid work model and a full-time, permanent contract. You will partner with the EVP Bikes to craft and execute the strategic roadmap, and you will own the BU's operational rhythm, aligning cross-functional teams toward growth.

The role demands proven leadership in strategy and operations across multi-market settings, with strong KPI governance and stakeholder management at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategy and operations leadership in a matrix or multi-market environment.
• Deep understanding of commercial strategy and market dynamics, with ability to contribute strategic input and drive growth.
• Experience owning operational frameworks, KPI systems, and leading cross-functional and regional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable with EVP and Leadership Team levels.
• Background in automotive, FMCG, or consumer goods preferred; curiosity about bikes matters more than direct experience.
• Degree in Engineering, Business, or Strategy or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refresh the BU’s medium- to long-term strategic roadmap.
• Own the operational rhythm of the BU, including core processes and annual calendar.
• Manage resource allocation across the BU to ensure priorities are staffed and funded.
• Design and manage KPI frameworks, governance structures, and performance reviews.
• Communicate strategic direction across senior leadership and regional teams; facilitate workshops.
• Drive cross-brand collaboration and ensure aligned ways of working within the BU.
