Job summary

PMJ, part of JBT Marel, is seeking a Hardware Engineer in Opmeer. You’ll own electro‑technical design from concept to commissioning, translating customer needs into robust electrical solutions and leading installation and service on site and at customer sites.

You will work with experienced colleagues, learning our machines and sharing knowledge across teams, while maintaining documentation and supporting multi-disciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
• Experience with electrical control systems, PLCs, electrical panels, and industrial cabling projects.
• Experience with SEE Electrical and/or EPLAN is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control systems and perform verification tests.
• Prepare and execute electrical panel and cabling projects on-site and in-field.
• Maintain and version control of documentation, modules, and item lists.
• Provide remote technical support to customers.
