Job summary

PMJ, part of JBT Marel, is recruiting a Field Service Engineer in Opmeer. You will be responsible for the complete electrical scope within multidisciplinary projects, from initial design to on-site commissioning, translating customer requirements into robust electrical solutions, and ensuring successful project execution.

You will work in a team and engage in field installations, perform design calculations, cabling, testing, and provide remote technical support to customers, including

Qualifications

• Electrical design and implementation of new electrical components.
• Experience with electrical control systems and cabling projects.
• Proficient with SEE Electrical and/or EPLAN.
• Ability to read and create electrical schematics and documentation.
• Experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and service support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control systems and perform verification tests.
• Prepare and execute the controls (electrical cabinets/software/PLC) part of installation jobs.
• Conduct service visits and troubleshoot production issues at customers' sites.
• Manage local employees in larger installation projects.
• Keep in touch with, and report to the customer about your progress.
• Train the customer and feedback results to your colleagues.
