Job summary

Mobeco Group B.V. in the Netherlands seeks a Hardware Engineer Lighting & Safety to design complete lighting and safety systems for luxury yachts.

You will translate customer requirements into high-quality electrical designs and collaborate with interior suppliers and project teams. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with several years of hardware engineering experience, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team on yachtbuilding

  • Incorporate the systems into the complete electrical drawing package
  • Work closely with different disciplines within the project team

Mobeco is looking for a Hardware Engineer Lighting & Safety.

Do you have a background in Electrical Engineering and experience as a Hardware Engineer? Would you like to work on the electrical systems of some of the world’s most luxurious yachts?

In this role, you will be responsible for designing complete lighting and safety systems for yachts. You will work closely with customers, interior suppliers and project teams to translate technical requirements into high-quality electrical designs.

What will you do?
  • Design lighting and safety systems based on customer requirements and class regulations
  • Perform the necessary electrical calculations
  • Coordinate the functionality and location of lighting systems
  • Coordinate safety systems with customers and interior suppliers
  • Incorporate the systems into the complete electrical drawing package
  • Work closely with different disciplines within the project team
