Job summary

Joosten Inc. is seeking a hands-on worker to clean hulls, tanks and holds of seagoing vessels at shipyards in Delfzijl/Niestern Sander, with optional work at other sites.

You will operate a high-pressure cleaner, grit blaster and paint sprayers or rollers, and you should be comfortable heights and outdoor hours.

We offer potential permanent contract and require a VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one; transport and housing arrangements are your responsibility.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding role requiring endurance.
• Willing to learn how to operate equipment.
• Comfort with heights and confined spaces.
• Willing to arrange own transport and housing.

Responsibilities

• Clean hull, tanks and holds of sea vessels.
• Operate high-pressure cleaner and grit blaster.
• Preserve ships using airless sprayers or roller applications.
• Work at shipyard Niestern Sander or Delfzijl docks; occasionally other sites.
