Job summary

AURELIUS is seeking a Managing Director (m/f/d) to lead Buy & Build initiatives in Benelux. You take end-to-end responsibility for Growth investments, guiding portfolio companies from acquisition through the holding period.

You act as the on-site leader for portfolio teams, define strategy, build the team, drive efficiency, and coordinate financing. The role involves extensive travel; relocation is not required.

Qualifications

• Several years of broad, hands-on operational responsibility as Managing Director or CEO in a mid-cap environment.
• P&L responsibility of at least an eight-figure amount and experience in small/mid-cap private equity.
• Entrepreneurial work style, high energy, execution strength and strong communication skills.
• university degree in business, science, or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site management teams and serve as the contact for operational and strategic matters.
• Define strategy, team, and on-the-ground efficiency measures; steer workstreams.
• Optimize financing structures; accompany portfolio companies through the holding period and exit.
• Extensive travel; relocation is not required.
